We are a family run business for over 30 years - located in East Central North Dakota. We have mostly Clover/Alfalfa Honey with some slight Sunflower blended in late summer. Honey is available in listed containers but we can fill special needs, also. The Beekeeper’s Wife Body Butter is a new product that we are offering, to promote healing we blend beeswax and essential oils together with other natural ingredients in 1 ounce tin. Boot Butter, excellent for waterproofing all leather goods is available in 12 ounce tin. Springtime nucs available with ample notification.

Since 2010, Hetrick Honey Bees has been the home of Shunk Woods Honey. Located in the small community of Shunk, OH, our bees have access to miles of woods and creek bottoms, which gives our honey a wonderful mild flavor. We have three additional apiaries located throughout Henry County, all located near woods, rivers, and alfalfa fields.
Our Ohio wildflower honey is raw and unheated. It is available in containers ranging from 8 oz. to 60 lb. buckets. We also offer beeswax when available.

We are in our twelfth year as beekeepers and still amazed at all that honeybees make possible. Pollinating our garden and fruit trees was an extra bonus when we first got our bees. There are many tasty treasures from the honeybee, as well as the natural fragrant aroma from the beeswax. The worker bees have done the hard part of gathering nectar and curing it into honey, and they produce the beeswax the honey is stored in. We’ve taken it from there and made the treasures you will find on our site. The honey I offer for sale is produced in North Central Ohio. Its origin is predominately from many different wildflowers and Locust, Tulip popular,and Basswood trees. There is some Clover and Alfalfa present. I am lucky to have a large amount of uncultivated and woodland surrounding my Apiaries. Much of the honey from Wild Strawberries, Wild Blackberries, Wild Black-Raspberries, and many other natural growing plants in addition to those listed. Note: The 3 and 5 lb. containers listed below also available in decorative jugs.
