Champion Hill Farm is located in northwest lower Michigan in Benzie County, a short distance from the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. The major nectar source for our honey comes from the Star Thistle plant which flourishes in this rural region. Star Thistle produces a very light and delicious honey, and each year’s honey is its own vintage, with the addition of unique flavors of sumac, basswood, and wild berry nectars. The hives are maintained by Greg Griswold who has been working with honeybees for 25 years. Greg maintains healthy honeybees with a low stress environment and intensive management.
